Ditto on The Untouchables and the OG Bond. And don't forget him as Soviet Captain Ramius in The Hunt for Red October!:
Not to mention there's Sam Neil, Alec Baldwin, Scott Glenn and Courtney Vance, all in their prime. Now I gotta watch that one again (and maybe make it a two-fer with Crimson Tide, my other favorite sub movie).Last edited by ScoutHikerDad; 11-01-2020 at 06:34 PM. Reason: spelling

Thanked: 557I’d like to add “The man who would be king” with Michael Caine and Christopher Plummer.
Connery and Caine were marvellous working off one another.David

TV you say 'Eh'--Many a year ago I took my mom and dad to our local drive in to watch One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest when it first came out. I'd taken my dad to new movies several times but mom didn't want to go but this time she did.
In the opening scene when the Head Dr (he was actually the head of the Mental Institute in Pendelton OR just south of Walla Walla) and he listed off Jack's offenses of rape, assault, sexual assault, battery etc he then asked Jack why 'he' thought that he was there and Jack responded something like--'Well Doc, I guess I like to F**K and Fight too much my mother's mouth dropped wide open!
Mom blurted out; "What did he say"?!?!?
I told her that it had been some time since she'd seen a movie that wasn't on TV.
Damn I miss her.Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
