    "The name is Bond... James Bond." There was only ONE true Double-O Seven. All the others were mere aspirants who sort of got it, but not quite.

    Scrolling through Hulu last night found (and watched) The Rock. Loved Connery in that one.

    Ditto on The Untouchables and the OG Bond. And don't forget him as Soviet Captain Ramius in The Hunt for Red October!:

    Not to mention there's Sam Neil, Alec Baldwin, Scott Glenn and Courtney Vance, all in their prime. Now I gotta watch that one again (and maybe make it a two-fer with Crimson Tide, my other favorite sub movie).

    I’d like to add “The man who would be king” with Michael Caine and Christopher Plummer.

    Connery and Caine were marvellous working off one another.

    I concur, that is a great movie. I've read that Connery and Caine were the best of friends in real life.
