The mention of Facebook on the wireless camera thread made me think of this:

I find that social media can be used in a positive way, but more often than not its full of narcissistics that use it as their platform.

I have to agree Mark. When I first signed up it was great for connecting with old friends, now it just great at mining your data and feeding you advertising.

Deleting my Facebook account was a liberating experience. The only con is that I now have to use an associates account to dig dirt on witnesses I am to cross-examen.

I never cease to be amazed at the occupations of some of the guys here.

    Nurses
    Doctors
    Web Developers
    Locksmiths
    Lawyers
    Marine mechanics
    Teachers
Professors and a lot more that slips my mind for now, apologies for that.

While they aren't active anymore, you can add a Professional Archeologist, Professional Japanese Translator and a Barber to the list.

While I've worn many different hats during my adult working days I would say that my career was as a Grocery Clerk.

In England I was a train driver and part time web designer but since I moved to Canada in 2003 I have been a full time web developer now semi retired.

I also cancelled my FaceBook account back in 2016 ish.

Don't forget us Bank Robbers. When I retired from Law Enforcement I found it to be the perfect diversion from boredom.

Don't talk to me about social media. I have no use for it. The day will come when everyone rues the day it was invented.

Well of course it's a form of social media but it's saving grace is it's specialized and we have control over it.

Not fisherman or fishmonger? Either fishing is a hobby or I have totally misunderstood your name.
If you're wondering I'm probably being sarcastic.
