I'm with you Glen it's about time those Mexicans did something about their situation with Guatemala.

Thanked: 13249What a great idea, having Mexico send troops to shut down it's southern border, Sheesh I am pretty sure I heard that someplace hmmmmm let me think
Must have read it in a mean tweet, while I was pumping $1.95 per/gal gas, the good ole' days way back in 2018 and 2019"No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"
Very Respectfully - Glen

Way back about 19 years ago while I was still working that was the inside joke. Most folks back then didn't realize Mexico has maybe a bigger illegal problem than we do. Sure, many want to come here for the higher wages but you got a lot of what are basically Native Guatemalans (Indians) who live up in the mountains and don't even speak a word of Spanish. They have their own language and to them Mexico is the land of opportunity. We would now and then get a smuggling load of them and the first thing we had to do was teach them how to use a toilet. Many had never seen one before.

Thanked: 3228Border opened for US citizens to enter Canada under certain conditions. Some crossing points were extremely busy and others not so much.

Thanked: 3228It should be pretty safe for visitors to the area covered by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. Despite all the moaning and dripping and some anti vax protests the district now has 75% of those 12 and older fully vaccinated. I hope that would keep any future waves of Covid infections down to a manageable level.
