Thanked: 3228You can't get much more sparsely populated areas than the prairies and the TC Highway has been divided 4 lane from Manitoba to BC for many years now. I think by now the TC Highway is divided 4 lane through the Rockies by now. You can be on 4 lane divide highway from southern Ontario, through Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia up to Cape Breton. The TC Highway from Port au Basque NL (ferry port) to St John's NL has be divided 4 lane for many years now. It's the main highway across Canada. Just not important enough for Ontario, a have province, to worry about.
