Armadillo eggs are good, but most of the time I make regular old jalapeno poppers.

ABTs and armadillo eggs are too much work for my lazy ass.

Gotta agree Bob I won't buy packaged bacon unless it is thick cut

Going to try our local Butcher again for Pork Jowls, it is the closest we can get to the Italian Guanciale-Pork Cheeks for things like Carbonara

    Try these:
    - pit some good big dates
    - fill them with good gorgonzola or blue cheese
    - wrap with bacon
    - broil till crisp on the outside

Try not to eat fewer than 10.

    My fave is dove wraps.
A halved breast with crème cheese and some HOT pickled jalapeno slices in between, wrapped and tossed in orange juice for a few days in the fridge.
    Hot grill..Yeah!

Chicken thigh meat also works great

Those that have ever been on a dove hunt here in Texas understand Tom's comment about the bacon wrapped doves. It just doesn't get any better than that!

Oh no! you won't get me again John, Doves, Armadillo eggs

I don't know why I even fell for it actually. We all know that only cold blooded things lays eggs - fish, snakes, crocodiles, chickens, kangaroos.
