I just got some sad news...
My wife texted me and ask when I was going to be home. I knew something was up right away. Just a feeling. I had planned on stopping and bringing home diner but she said to come straight home.
When I got home I found out my Mother had died. The good parts to this she died in her sleep. She had her step daughter and son taking care of her ever since moms husband had passed a few years back. Another great thing is I spoke to her on the phone a few days ago and she was feeling great after getting a small medical treatment. She has just been tired. The 3 of them came to visit the wife and I for 4 days two months ago so I was able to see her and show her my home. My family has never been close. But being able to see her, talk to her and the fact that she went in her sleep, it's just hard to beat that. I will still go to work tomorrow as she lived in Washington state so nothing I can do right now. I will be making the trip west in a few days. Mom was living the life she wanted. Had everything she wanted and went in her sleep.
What a way to go. It's still hard on me but life continues. I will have a lot of phone calls to make to family. Maybe tomorrow night. It's just Sharpening, right?

Lucky, gal.
Sorry for your loss, buddy. I've been orphaned for some time now. The memories keep them alive in my hart, and always share a tear with each one, in happiness.
Still think I have the mark on my arse from dads belt, for a reminder too.Mike
