Well of course everyone has one or two issues that are dear to them. However this is different. There are many folks in the country that if Hitler were reanimated and ran for president as himself and said he was pro second amendment and wanted to ban abortion nationwide there is a wide swath of folks in this country who would vote for him oblivious to all the other things he would really like to do.
Of this I have no doubt. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

It has occurred to me that Abbott and DeSantis would be prudent to stand pat. JMHO
They (and others) have worked hard to get where they are, All the intricacies..
Much needed there.
It is nothing like running the whole country without 'handlers' calling the shots.
The domestic as well and worldwide issues must be altered and cemented. Think they really know how?
Yeah, About like RFK Jr. NOT

Thanked: 49I prefer gov desantis stay where he is. As a former ny resident my quality of life has drastically improved living in Florida as compared to the communist regime of NY state.

Putting personality aside i think Trump has a proven record to stand on (the left and their media hate him because he is the only one they think will actually stop their agenda) Same reason I don't think Kennedy has a real chance. Bidens "handlers" have the power.

Thanked: 13245Yeah you do have a point, we have Biden as president now... When it comes to monolithic voting blocks, the Democrats own that...
But for me and many like me it is simple, if you believe in any Gun Laws that affect law abiding citizens you don't get my vote.. Not the other way around as you posted, You don't get my vote if you are pro 2a, it just means I work my way down the list of other policies you have that I might like... There is a differenceLast edited by gssixgun; 06-08-2023 at 03:32 PM.

Thanked: 133As a dem I feel like Republicans lose if they run with Trump or DeSantis. I think DeSantis had the best shot until his troubles with the mouse and lgbtq community. I want to vote for someone other than Biden- but definitely prefer him over those two.

Colorado certainly didn't use to be like that. Wonder what happened? LOL
I got a 28th ammendment. Complete ban on all immigration into the USA from California and NY. Keep them out. TX is startting to have the same kind of trouble from all the immigrants from DPRK. Demokratik Peoples Republik of Kaliforniya. Austin in particular is becoming a hotbed of anti-gun leftism. FL has New Yorkers coming in and the first thing they try to do is change the political landscape. They all say they are fleeing bad government but that is exactly what they bring with them. We are truly blessed in Louisiana to have big monster mosquitoes, hurricanes, floods, oppressive summer heat 10 months out of the year, hungry alligators, high flood insurance, water moccasins, high crime, and other miseries that keep immigration from those places pretty low. We couldn't get them to move to our state if we wanted them to. When asked, I always tell them that the culture, music, and food all suck here, too, though just between me and yall, that is a big fat fib.
