We are not talking about the voices in my head, telling me to go for the nearest fire axe, do we ?

I've never even seen a fire axe in european buildings.

I also here James Earl Jones, when reading espionage novels and Patrick Stewart for sci-fi. They are the narrators though, the characters each have their own voices.

Strange when I read these types of things the voices in my head all start snoring. It's the only way I get any peace

Because waaaaaaaaayy too many Europeans do hear voices in their heads, all the time! I'm just kidding Bruno... No get the fire axe away, wait..BRUNO NO!

Seriously though, I can't say anything too bad about Europeans, I just love Germany way too much for that. Going back next spring and staying for three years woop woop! Mmmmm Hefeweizen. C'mon Bruno, say it with me, mmmmmmmm Hoeengarten (forgive my poor spelling).

Maybe I'm weird. I don't hear voices in my head, but I do breath along to a text as though I am reading it aloud and I feel my vocal chords tense up as though I am talking, but no voice ever appears in my mind.
Why did I never analyse my thoughts whilst reading before.

    Hoegaarden... very good
My favorite beer in college used to be 'limburgse witte' which is almost the same as hoegaarden. Did you drink them out of those thick heavy glasses?

While I was in college I could drink 15 of those in an evening while still being able to speak coherently without slurring, and able to walk in a straight line.
And I was never hung over the next day. In fact I used to get up at 8 am on saturday morning in order to teach martial arts to the youth...
Practise makes perfect (lots and lots of practise )

These days my ability to drink is but a shadow of its past. A lost art

Oh yeah, those small squat thick glasses. Using that wierd knife to take the top off the head. Heh. HOW MANY in one night? Dang! Of course, my best for Hoegaarden in one night was 10, but you're right about one thing, I was strangely sober the next morning - no hangover to speak of. Wierd, I had forgotten about that. Considering the alcohol content, what's the reason for that?
