I've never knocked the same door twice on my mission. And most neighbourhoods I went doorknocking (I hated that bit and avoided it as much as possible) hadn't been visited by LDS missionaries in at LEAST 5 years.

I thought you would be listening and that is why I mentioned the LDS. I just used this to emphasize that if my biggest worry about Christianity is a LDS member knocking on my door --- then things are pretty good with the whole Christianity gig. The Mormons that have knocked on my door have always been a professional representation of their religion --- sharp, kind, and well-informed --- now if and when the LDS start packing suicide bombs and demanding my conversion, even once every 5 years might be a little annoying ----but I don't see that happening.

You never know!! I heard that we send women through a tunnel from England to Salt Lake City to brainwash them.....so maybe we're training them to be suicidebombers.

At least they'll be easily recognised since I've also heard that every mormon's got horns that they have to file down if they don't want people to see them.

That filing trick is a proven success since I haven't seen any of them with horns lately.

You can laugh...but both me AND my dad have met people that seriously thought that.

Needless to say they weren't THAT clever.

Interesting thread. The sad sad sign of the times......... I think.......... is the misinformation that is being thrown out by media. So many people take the information as fact without looking any farther than their TV sets. Flag burning gets people worked up, but......... anyone know what this is?

Good one, Dennis! Yep, that would be the civil peacetime flag of USA.

I doubt that many people are going to remember a flag that was phased out more than 50 years ago!
