Belgium's best kept secret
Belgium seems to make at least one malt whisky.
Of course I had to buy and try it. It only cost 15 euros, which should have been ample warning.
On the bottle it was advertised as Belgium's best kept secret.
As far as I am concerned, we should keep it that way.
Awful swill. Probably good for using as desinfectant, but ugly taste and a woozy feeling the day after, even from just 1 glass.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

I tried a sip of a Japanese Single Malt a few days ago. People were talking it up, but I couldn't see what the fuss was. It wasn't wretched or anything, but it didn't have any character which I think is an essential quality for any single malt.

Irish Malt whisky is not bad. Connemara is actually good.
But for character you cannot beat the scotch whisky.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
