The idea of one member of a forum banning anyone who disagrees with him is ludicrous Joel took a turn at bashing RW, and nothing was said, but RW came to his own defense, so the thread was shortened.

I find it very distasteful for anyone to use a public forum for their own personal vendettas, but for a moderator to do it is so much worse.

i got in a big situation on the nutrisystem boards because i posted in the "dan marino" forum (area for men only) about how i am switching, and everyone was like OOOOO SO DANGEROUS U SHOULDNT!!! dont really care what htey say, they dont know much about straights.

anyway, they have these pics of animated bears that u can put in a sig to show when u lose 10, 20, 30, etc lbs and i have some. but apparently they arent manly, so a few guys started to give me crap about being gay. blah blah blah, long story short, its a huge fight goin on with like 2938598235 guys vs me because since they pissed me off i fished it back, but its not okay for me to.

my point is... people on forums are stupid. i dont really like b&b.. ive poked around a few times, sucks in my opinion. not sure why, just dont like the feel there -- cant put my finger on why. maybe cuz i came here first and im accustomed to people that know what htey are talkin about and that try to help? ;P

SRP regulars rock. EOS

I stopped going to B&B about a month or so ago. Just too much wacky ego stuff going on there.

SRP was my first razor forum, although I belong to two others. SRP is still the best, friendliest (as long as you stay away from the political threads ), and most informative. I rarely visit the other ones, and almost never post there. This place just beats all the others I've visited by a mile. I really wanted to stay away from this one, because there are good people on all of them, good customers of mine, and some good information to be had. Here, though, you don't have to wade through so much bovine scatology to get to it. Certain "other" places have become a cult of personality for somebody without one.

I really detest petty politics. This srp group I highly respect the people here and appreciate that most of the time we talk and act like adults,gentlemen & women. I have found very little politics if any. Really i think sincere people what want to learn and talk about this facet of the hobby or a tradition. So........... that being said I was looking to join this new club here shortly.
Could not resist a shameless plug on B&B for our group.

"I have recently noticed a kindergarden fight between a real straight shaver user who offered some real world advice to a fellow b&b member and a over zealous mod(s) who got their bloomers in a bunch about it. The way i see it b&b may want to stick with DE's and send any potential straight users to SRP. At least grown ups are members there. The Gentleman there actually can agree to disagree there like adults and walk away with a handshake. Please don't do this guys....

We have always maintained the high road even in the face of the treatment received there and have been better off for it. I am a fan of most of the mods there and would not consider this the right thing to do.
