whoo boy, time for confession!
1. straight razors, duh.
2. fountain pens - I hang out over at fountainpennetwork.com picking up used pens, tweaking and restoring them. I won't write with a ballpoint anymore than I would shave with a Mach3
3. tobacco - pipes, hookahs and cigars. if you think RAD is bad on the pocketbook, try fancy cigars. at least when you shave with a razor you still have it!
4. martial arts - currently a black belt in American Karate, although I don't go workout as often as I should :-P
5. competitive shooting - when I get time to compete (whoever thought it was cool to hold matches on weekdays is an idiot) I shoot IDPA, IDSA, 3-gun and occasionally IPSC or USPSA if I am bored and feeling masochistic. most of the matches I go to are with the Cross Timbers group in DFW. ar15.com is a good site for this AD.
6. powerkiting - if you are not familiar with this sport, imagine a very big kite that looks suspiciously like a small parachute, then getting dragged around by it. check out racekites.com for info on this AD. currently my pride and joy is a Pansh Ace with 6 square meters of sail area. powerful enough to pick my fat ass right up off the ground.
7. I am also a rabid otaku, although I don't have as much time for it as I did when I was younger.
8. I also do programming on the side, but since it's my job these days, I don't have as much enthusiasm for it as I once did.

That's cool. I ride inline skates down big ramps.....and up them again offcourse.
Like to read, do some video editing every now and then, play guitar and some occasional piano. And lately my biggest hobby has been playing with Adam my 3 month old son.

Cyclin' ... Road bikes. I have a cyclocross bike that I commute to work on.. when it isn't busted. I experienced chain-suck this morning when I was supposed to head out and meet my team for a group ride. Now I've replaced half the spokes on the affected side and I'm trying to true the sucker.
Y'all think honing a razor is tough.. true a wheel... .ugh. and if you are a perfectionist like me... double-ugh.
