Hey Alex, can I start calling you Vlad the impaler?

I used to be a moderator on this forum that closed down recently, a position i got by being really helpful. I had to ban two people, because they would run everything off topic, and just have full blown conversations. Then i had to ban one other person because they were seriously trying to get people to start a revolution on the board, against the forum admin, but he did it through the use of threats and foul language

Actually I'm surprised at how well it's all going. There's been a few people that are quite unhappy but the majority is excited about it. Seems that now that I'm quelling a few of the loudmouths a lot of people aren't affraid to speak up anymore.

I've had to slap a few people on the wrist but whenever I have they've responsed really well (apart from a few exceptions) and edit their posts etc when I ask them to.

Alex, what can I say? If the power doesn't go to your head, sounds like this is an ideal way to hone your fatherhood skills on young 'uns.

True, true, LX. You never said anything bad about B&B, just suggested I ALSO check out SRP. B&B is a pretty good site, but I'm after a site exclusively dedicated to straight razors, and SRP is THE site. Haven't been back to B&B in a while, but I'll check it out from time to time 'cos they have some good info on soaps, creams, aftershaves etc.

B&B gave me a good introduction to straights, for which I'm very grateful . I didn't mean to imply that LX had said anything derogatory at all regarding that site. Hope I haven't got you into trouble over there; it'd be one hell of a way to repay you .
