After the headlines you quoted. Perhaps I assume too much. My bad.
And they're largely well paid by Big Oil as was explained on the site I linked you to and makes them quite disreputable actually. They have openly stated that their agenda is to eliminate the concept of a crisis. Their words are false. There is actually scientific consensus on climate change. That's fact.

Oh no, I caught that, but what it says is, "I reserve the right NOT to be sceptical".
Brother Skeeter, my friend, I have delivered you three buckets of factual water now.
I can see you're not thirsty.

One thing I find very interesting, DSailing alluded to it, is that they never tak into account your living situation and the natural recources available to you when talking about these things.
Here's an example:
I live in Michigan, we have fresh water, lots of it. On the other hand it tends to be fairly cool here without much sun. Heating water for washing takes a lot of energy, so if I use twice as much cold water as hot I am in a position where I use less irreplacable expensive recources.
If I lived in Arizona, Heat would be easy to come by. Water on the other hand...... So if I can use half as much water by heating it more I use less recources.
Why is this never taken into account?

Yes we are a part of nature, but that does not mean that we have dominion over it or the right to destroy it.
Although this calculator is missing much and may be biased, at least it reflects a change in the human focus to maybe just maybe detroy a little less of our home.
