Thanked: 22Seems like whoever designed that, think the US is the largest contributor.
Wouldn't let me take the test coz there are no options for different countries.

Well I have to say upfront I believe the whole global warming issue to be total BS in the first place, but for those of you that do believe in that...
My house is way below the National average of 53 for a 2 person household we score a solid 35 and really don't do anything special other than what saves us $$$ personally....

I'm above the national average for two person households, mostly because I drive a large gas guzzling vehicle. I'd like to see anything smaller carry the amount of stuff that is required for my job, it can't happen, but there is no allowance for actually having to work for a living. I should also get bonus points because my work environment uses no heating or cooling at all.
I'm also trying to figure out how eating organically produced food reduces my carbon footprint because it requires more land to feed me when the food is grown organically. I also had to check but my garden technically isn't organic yet between my garden and fruit trees I get a lot of food.
I wonder if I should get credit because I preserve five acres of wetland in my back yard and have planted thousands of trees on my property. There wasn't a line for that.

Mine isn't too bad, 30, but it's one of those necessity things for the most part. I'm with Glen- I do it because it saves money, not the environment. If the tree huggers were that worried about my 5.7 liter red monster, they would pay for a biodiesel conversion on it and make it more efficient rather than harping on me for something I can't afford to do without or change.

Ok, ok I'm with the majority here who don't quite buy the global warming hype. that being said, I scored a fifty three for a household of five!

I admit TO A DEGREE that something is happening to the Planet. algore and all the "Chicken Littles" of the environ-mental movement are completely FULL of Tennessee Road Apples. The Earth is too big and complex to explain with a simple model. When the Weather Bureau can tell me with COMPLETE accuracy what the weather is going to be in TEN DAYS, then I'll listen to what they say about the next hundred years.
I could only get a 78. I'll have to start smoking coal in my pipe.
