I used to watch a lot of TV....like 8 hours a day...and like 3 channels at a time too...I have no cable in the apartment so I went from a bunch to none in one day lol...I've seen it all through the yellow window of the evening train....

and you call yourself american!!!! I think we know why the economy is not so good anymore - not owning a TV set, Mark has not spent his stimulus money to upgrade to the LCD-TV....

Even I own a TV set, even though it's a 14" one and has been in the attic for years. I should send it to you - may be it'll get you hooked and we can get back on track to economic boom by november and McCain can win.

Thanks for the thoughtful gesture Ivan, but my goats and children are all the entertainment I need!

The tv is usually on in the evening, but to me it is more of a background thing. I use it more for listening than for watching.

I could easily go without tv, but my wife thinks different (I think it comes automatically with being married).
Maybe the minister should've given given me a sign when I said 'I do'
Aww Bruno it's not so bad you don't watch TV, anyone who reads Pratchett is ok in my book! We have a 37" LCD - HD ready and cable, which we don't watch a lot of to be honest. Haven't heard of the "Here's your sign" thing before. Maybe it hasn't reached across the pond yet.

I have them all, and I've read them all multiple times.
I am presently re-reading all the 'watch' books. Atm it is the Fifth elephant. I already did the others (not in order).

I think the ones I read most so far are Jingo, The Hogfather and Small Gods. About 6-8 times each.
It's probably silly to re-read them every other year, but they just keep on being funny, and after 2 years I've forgotten most of the details so the plot stays interesting.

I suppose it would have helped if I'd actually WATCHED the clip before I posted, DOH! Stupid people humour is just way too funny. Billy Connelly did a similar joke on his Tour of Australia footage involving a hair dryer, a shower and a "Here's Your Sign"!!

As for rednecks, well y'see I got's me a little ol' redneck girlie fr'en dat I b knowin' fo 6 years, so there's YOUR sign. Oh and Spike's cousins are Gator wrestling Cajun's.
