Default More False Info From Fox News

BRIT HUME'S Mea Culpa--Admits "Obama's brother says he's a Muslim" story was false:

"And finally, last week, we quoted The Jerusalem Post in the story about Barack Obama's half brother Malik Obama. The Post reported that in an interview with Israeli Army Radio, Malik Obama said his brother would be a good president despite his Muslim background. It now turns out that the Post did not quite understand what Malik Obama was saying in the interview and paraphrased him incorrectly. Malik Obama did not say that his older brother has a Muslim background. The Jerusalem Post has since removed the story from its website, and we regret the error."

    +1.
The usual media network response when wrong is to ignore the story and hope people simply don't remember.

Most news sources wouldn't even bother with a retraction! Good on Fox, and thanks Billyjeff, keep up the good work!

Any credible news source wouldn't have reported the false story to begin with!
Faux news did. So did Drudge.

Are you suggesting that "every" news source reported this false story?

Most of the crap the Clinton News Network or PMSNBC says is false, and you never hear corrections from them. I think most of the news is pedagogical crap foisted on a populace largely devoid of the capacity for critical thinking. Fox seems more factual and less politically slanted than the others though. Odd how Fox gets calumny slathered on it by those who profess to be "open minded", yet cannot tolerate a differing point of view. I have found that the more liberal a person claims to be, the less willing they are to entertain differing points of view, without resorting to ad hominem attacks and stock claims of racism, sexism, etc. Sad, really, that dumb people fall for the invented divisions, thus making them real.
