SPOILER ALERT!
I was really impressed with the whole series, it was wonderful the way the clone picked up Donna's gob while she got the braniac side of things, even though that meant the end of her.
Davros wasn't as scary as I remember, I guess age does that to you. But I fully empathised with Sarah Jane when she first heard his voice, eeekkkkkk!!!!!!!!
I guess this means the supreme dalek will be this years must have toy for Christmas.......................

Thanked: 131SILVER!!!!
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG I love Dr Who! The most recent episodes are AWESOME. I felt a little let down though. One episode they tell you something is going to happen, you get all geared up for the change and then the next episode they change their mind and do something completely different. I think you know what I mean.
Incidentally, is it just me or is Billie Pipers voice and mouth gone a bit funny in her recent re-appearances? She talks as though she has a fat lip, like its been punched.

Sir Sidney it has already been mentioned that Billie Piper had some dental work done, please do try and keep up! And you have to think about the fact she is a little older now so her face has thinned out or matured a little too.
The Sci-Fi channel over here has had a Dr Who weekend, mainly classic Tom Baker and Peter Davidson episodes but they have also shown the Dr Who movie with Paul MaGann which I hadn't seen before.
I wasn't keen on it to be honest as the TARDIS was way too fussy for my liking (even though it had an obviously Gothic theme going on).
Roll on Christmas and the return of the Cybermen to Victorian England, woohooo!!!

Ha! I enjoyed the call centre!
They were filming the Christmas Special near me a few months ago in Gloucester. Snow everywhere!

Ya know, living in Cardiff you would have thought Spike and I would have caught the Beeb filming but nooooooooo! Last year was a classic example when they were filming "Voyage of the Damned", there were notices up everywhere that Westgate Street (where quite a few bus stops are) would be closed for the filming. The sneaky buggers were actually a few streets over with 8ft high fencing blocking both ends of the street, so you couldn't see a damn thing!
It is bizzare watching the last 4 series and catching streets and shops that you recognise! In "Rose" (the first episode with Eccleston and Piper) Jackie is seen shopping when the shop manequins come to life. That was filmed in Queens Arcade and just outside of it. Whereas "Voyage" (when Tennant and Kylie get to Earth) was shot literally 200 yards further down the same street!!
One of our friends has been caught in a shop during her lunch hour twice while filming went on, though she isn't a Who fan, her boss is so she got away with being late back to work! The Hayes is used quite regularly in the specials (remember the crazy cashpoint in "Runnaway Bride"?) And Bute park was used as Hooverville for "Daleks in Manhattan".
Cardiff Bay is getting more and more use, it's always in Torchwood and has been in Who a few times now too. Maybe Spike and I should go take some photos of the locations to post? We have already promised Sir Sidney that next time he is in this neck of the woods we will take him on a Who location tour.

Named after the second Marquess of Bute who built Cardiff docks and made a fortune! I know these things as I'm Cardiff born and bred.
Back to the good Doctor, they boarded off most of the cathedral grounds filming this year's Christmas special but the Tardis was spotted in various places as was the Doctor himself.

I heard that J K Rowling was supposed to be in the christmas special but Tennant said 'No way! If she's in i'm out!' and obviously being the Doctor they couldnt get rid of him....

Ah! But the Dr Who is written by a Swansea chap
I can't remember which episode, but one of them was filmed outside Morgans Hotel at the bottom of Wind Street.
