While I do believe it is a virtual certainty there is life on other planets, I doubt very much that any aliens, no matter how technologically advanced, will be able to overcome the insurmountable obstacles of being able to travel millions of light years to get here. I think it's just a physical impossibility (barring there being life on another planet in our solar system, which seems highly unlikely).

Thanked: 1587Well you know technically I suppose any flying thingame-bob that can't be identified is, by definition, a UFO. So sure, I believe there are UFOs - at least until someone identifies them as a weather balloon or whatever.
Actually, here in Australia we have something called the Min-Min lights that, as far as I can tell, has never been explained to a satisfactory level. More than 100 years worth of sightings apparently(Probably just 100 years worth of extremely inebriated people, but you never know.)

Thanked: 3795I saw a UFO in 1984. I was not a kid. I was not confused, or mistaken, or drunk. I spent 10 minutes watching it and I still have no explanation. There was no natural phenomenon that could explain what I saw and it certainly was not a man-made craft. I have no explanation for it so it definitely qualified as a UFO.

Here in Arizona there have been many UFO sightings over the years not all of them have been identified as to what they were. One I remember hearing about years and years ago was a guy that was driving down a road in the desert when all of a sudden these lights came on in front of him out of now where. They rose up and all of a sudden took off and disappeared.
As Paul Harvey says now the rest of the story
A buddy of mine worked on helicopters years and years ago, they were flying a training mission one night when the decided to have some fun. They saw this vehicle going down a desolate road by itself, they had all the lights off and hovered just over the road about a mile away when the vehicle was 75-100 yards away they turned every light on the helicopter and started climbing. As they started picking up speed they turned off all the lights and flew away on night goggles.
Yup both sides of the same story. While some are hoaxes like this some others are undefinable.
I did see recently where an Astronaut said that yes there was life out there but it was too difficult a journey for them to get here
