Thanked: 174Does Obama use a straight?
Well I noticed that a Presidential candidate from the USA came to England for a quick visit. Probably needed to top the old plane with a bit of fuel. Still he was very welcome to visit, as are you all. He chatted with our Prime Minister and some wannabees. Some members of the Public waved flags.
What I want to know is does he use a straight razor or does he support big British Business such as for example Gillette ?
All views are welcome, but nothing political please.

Nope, not a chance he uses a straight or even a DE. Far too busy, hip and cool. Had his beard removed by electrolysis to alleivate him from such mundane and mortal concerns as facial hair and shaving.

Not sure about the Obama/electrolysis thing, but I do know for certain that John McCain shaves with a piece of flint affixed to a dinosaur bone. Yabba, dabba, do!!!!!!

Thanked: 131Whereas the current president is yet to start shaving. The surname is the clue.

Thanked: 79I doubt he uses a straight or even a DE as well. I'll bet he has a fusion, although it's possible he goes to a barber for shaves. Doubt it though.
The electrolysis actually wouldn't surprise me, to be honest, but not going to say that's what he did.
If I were to guess, none of them uses a straight. If I were going to give the edge to anyone, possibly McCain would be a straight guy, but I doubt any of them use one right now.
Possibly some of them visit barbers who use straights (high dollar haircuts notwithstanding, wouldn't surprise me with many of our politicians. I can't see paying a man hundreds of dollars for a hair cut and him not being adept with a straight also...)

Secret sevice would advise against letting a barber use a straight on anyone they are responsible for
