LOL - Jordan, it's no issue. Synchro diving is not something I'd be interested in either but, you know, when you know someone in the event, you watch it....

Ladies and gentlemen, I was privileged today to witness history in the making. Phelps has achieved something that I don't think will be easily repeated in the future. The man is a legend - I don't care who you are or where you come from, this guy is pure class. :bow
The only question I have about his performances is...how do we get him to defect to Australia?

I don't usually watch the olympics, I only found out today, that for the competitors get paid a nice amount of $ for those medals. I mean I am the type of person who would rather be participating in a sport rather than watching it on TV, I can't think of anything more boring. However, I have been watching it quite a bit this year, and I must say, some of those people are amazing, especially the ones that do gymnastics.
Some of you may be wondering who I am cheering for, NZ or Japan. The answer, is Japan naturally, I think mainly coz I haven't seen any sport containing Kiwi's yet. I heard NZ played Japan in soccer early on, but I don't think soccer should be an olympic sport. Actually, I thought the olympic sports were individualist ones.
The boxing scoring is a huge letdown for me too. They need to come up with a system that counts all hits and give better scores to the guy who hits harder as well. I saw a guy lose a match badly, yet it was extremely clear that if he had landed just one more punch the other guy was going down.
I'm watching the news about the british medal tally. We are now at 3rd in the medals table! Go us! :y
But if I hear one more reporter use the phrase 'Team G.B.' i'll scream.
Go teamGB! Go team GB! Go team GB!";" Sorry, I couldnt resist, the situation begged for it, like you though I get tired of the well worn, supposedly cute catchprases and buzzwords these people inflict on us.
