    As a Texan, posting in the month of August I'm going to agree with Bruno

    so far this month, the worst day (this month) where I live was (according to wunderground.com) 107F, with 55% humidity, on August 3rd. (according to Heat Index & Wind Chill Calculator, this means the heat index was 148.8F!!!)

    needless to say, it was an awful day. it's broken 100F almost everyday for a month.
