Thanked: 1587They are clearly fake photos. The woman is from Alaska - where would she get a tan like that?
On that note, I think that is what McCain sees in Palin - fresh skin graft donor, free from melanomas, liver spots and other blemishes.
Plus, I think there may be plans in the works to get her involved in the next Republican spit roast. I hear she knows how to dress a pig.

Thanked: 155I think the results as shown in the polls over the last week should be sufficient answer.

The US is in trouble either way......a Senator with minimal experience and questionable associates and a long-term Washington insider...or a war veteran whom I used to respect until he made it clear he is for sale to anyone who will get him into the Oval office before he croaks and an even less experienced beauty queen-cum-politician who is currently under investigation in her own state.....
I can count on one hand the times I have met a politician who did not make me check for my wallet after I was done speaking with them.
The big issue this week?
American soldiers dying in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Banks collapsing?
Jobs disappearing?
Oil prices?
Crappy schools?
Failing highways and bridges?
Corporate corruption?
Nope. The big news was the Republicans having a hissy fit over a common, everyday expression said by the Democratic candidate. One newspaper called it "a new level or irrelevance."
As an aside, what is with the hockey/soccer mom references? How does that qualify you to lead the nation? Most of the ones I encounter here in Douglas County, Colorado are the ones swerving across lanes in SUVs they can barely handle, yakking on the phones, swilling lattes, while speeding to drop their kids off at "enforced" activities (so when they are with their friends at the local Starbucks, they can say little Johnny or Suzy is involved in A, B, C, D, E, F, etc.), before heading to the mall to push the family further into credit card debt. They seem to be among the ones with the screaming brats in stores and restaurants or the rude, spoiled, self-centered teens in the malls...sort of the female version of the crazed sports father...."my children are a success, so I must be too!"
Hmmmm...now that I think of it...she should fit right in in Washington!

I've browsed through this thread hoping to find an answer to my question... I did get answers to questions I did not have, though! But clear this one out for me, will you: McCain is a Depublican, right? And Sarah Palin is a Democrat, right? I mean... something's wrong with this though, right? If so... where did I get this idea?!
