Interesting. I couldn't find anything about this movie being banned anywhere, but Netflix doesn't have it yet. Weird. It's in my Queue anyway for when they do get it. Looks good. Thanks X

Bingo. A great film all about food. Specifically about creating the perfect bowl of noodle soup.

The reason the movie is often banned is that during the creation of a turtle recipe a turtle is actually killed on camera. I'd forgotten about that the last time I rented it and it shocked me a little to see it again. I recall not thinking twice about it the first time through, but I wasn't a vegetarian then.

Dead turtles notwithstanding, it's a fun little film that you should try and see if you can.
