    Oh ye great silent bunch. I thought there'd at least be a few stabs at that one. Here's the final image and I'll tell you that not only is it not Hollywood, it is indeed a foreign language film. I can't make it much easier than this. Let's hear some guesses.

    crouching tiger, hidden dragon.

    Its the only foreign language film I have seen since, ..... well, ...... my birth. No one else was guessing so I would take a shot.

    This it is. I recall the movie fondly from seeing it in the early 90's and have been scouring video stores for a subtitled version since to no avail. One day ...

    I actually sat in the very room where the first image comes from, the Royal Theatre in Versaille where Moliere played for the Royalty of France. Image of the curtain and ceiling of said theatre is attached below.
