Ok,
I just saw this one last night for the first time. Great movie!

Sorry about the link business but I couldn't figure it out. I used the grab application on my mac to take a screen shot from google video. Photobucket would not let me download it so I opened a ripway account. Ripway does not have as many options as photobucket does as far as moving images arround. The screen shot is a file on my hard drive but I can't put a picture dirrectly from my hard drive onto an SRP post. If anyone has a mac remedy for this problem, please let me know.
Good Luck!

Thanked: 131We've already come up against this problem I think. Check out the solution to the problem at this post:

Also the alternative is to download and use a wonderful little dashboard widget called 'Capture' which allows you to take a screenshot much easier. Thats the one I use.

Easy! I use a macbook. When you are writing your post, click the paperclip icon above the text box. Click browse on the first open space in the new window that should open (make sure pop-up windows aren't blocked for SRP I suppose). Then just choose the image from your HD, click upload and then go back to your posting window once the upload is complete and submit!

Alex,
Good looking out. I just tried the paperclip icon, it pulled my file but when I tried to upload it said invalid file. Do you think it may be a copyright issue because I captured the image from google video? Also when I click the link in my original post the quicktime player icon comes up first. Were you guys able to see the pic from the link? Any more suggestions?
Thanks,

I could see the pic but yeah, the QT thing came up. I think it was a .tiff file or something which I don't know anything about but it isn't a file type that the paperclip thing supports. Looks like you made things too hard. Why not just open the dvd on your computer and make sure it is full screen (so nothing is showing but the movie- not even the movie window). Then just hold in command (apple) and shift and press 3. That should just take a screen shot and save it to your desktop as a jpeg. Then do the paperclip thing with that.
