Fist of Legend, the Jet Li remake

Is that the first repost? I'd thrown up FoL a while ago. A quick question about it: is that actually a remake? I've never heard of an older version. Was it good/who was in it? What's the official title?

It was a more or less exact remake of Fist of Fury with Bruce Lee. Interestingly, the new Jet Li movie "Fearless" is about Chan Zen's murdered master... so Li has now played both sides of the story. kind of cool.

Ah, thanks for the info re Fist of Fury. I own Fearless, and I quite like the movie. It is quite interesting, however, how different the stories of the master's murder are, most notably the circumstances of the poisoning (I'm pretty sure that is not a spoiler in either movie). Both are well worth watching. I really like Jet Li in general (excluding Forbidden Kingdom).
