heh I had a friend of mine do something like that. I took him to try sushi and taught him about horse radish and wasabi, I told him to just dip the tip of a toothpick in and try it. He did said he couldn't taste anything and before I could stop him proceeded to scoop up and swallow a grape size amount couple hours and many MANY glasses of milk later he could finally form syllables again.....and he even decided he liked sushi and went back I'm a nagiri man myself.
