Disturbing............
McCain's Chilling Dance With the Dark Side - PostPartisan - Quick takes from The Post's opinion writers
I'm not sure which is worse....the people screaming hateful things or McCain/Palin not decrying it.
I didn't know about McCain being on Liddy's show.....talk about odd associations!
It's becoming apparent that McCain is ready to do anything to get into the Oval Office before he kicks off.
For our members outside the US, please do not judge all Americans by the extremists referenced in this article.

Between hoglahoos comment about the Rev. Wright being unamerican and your post calling Palins association with AIP unamerican, it seemed to me a case of the pot calling the kettle black. They both being guilty.

Thanked: 50The two are hardly comparable. Jeremiah Wright has a personal history of exemplary charity and social work. Out of 20 years of preaching, the wingnuts were only able to come up with two quotes where he went over the top, and Obama didn't support the statements anyway. I get worked up about things, too, and say things that I later regret. Believe me, I said a few when Bush took us into Iraq on false premises, just like Rev. Wright did. Does that make me un-American?
Palin, on the other hand, consorts with people whose very reason for existence is to secede from the country. Did you ever read quotes from the AIP's founder or see that clip of Palin's welcome to their convention? I've linked it below.
Makes Ol' Reverend Wright seem merely cranky and tame by comparison.

Being raised in the upper penninsula of Michigan(they wish to secede from the lower) and in Missouri(torn in the civil war), the talk of secession doesnt bother me, and nowhere did Ms. Palin damn America or blame all of her problems on some other race. The apologetics for Rev. Wright are simply trying to cover the cats turd hoping that it wont stink. I will not vote for either Mc Cain or Obama , they are equally detestable, neither got to where they are without cuttin deals with the power brokers, they both have sold themselves. IMO, niether has the integrity for the office, or a vision for the future that will benifit you and I. They will do as the powerbrokers dictate, the boys in the backrooms rule and every four years they give us a monkeyshow that pits us against each other for their benefit. God help us all.

Well, all I can say is check the quotes from Joe Vogler. Even Wright didn't go anywhere near that far.
Since it appears likely that Obama is going to win this thing, I'm hoping that in a few months, you'll be pleasantly surprised. He certainly couldn't do worse than the crew we've got now.
