    I am kinda new at this but there are just not others that I care for. I have used a lot of full hollows and there are a lot of nice razors out there but I feel these are the King of the heap.

    Take care,
    Richard

    I'd get a master razor cutler to forge seven blades from an ancient Persian sword of the finest wootz Damascus steel. Each blade would be a 5/8, shoulderless swayback with a "singing" hollow grind and a barber's notch. Each day of the week, in Latin, would be forged into the spine of each blade and be complemented with beautiful displays of etching and silversmithing. Probably Biblical or from Christian tradition. The handles would be of ebony, ivory, tortoise shell, mother-of-pearl, blonde horn, gold, and one other. Can't think of it. Matching tang inserts. Scrimshaw to match the blade's imagery.

    The whole thing would come in a lignum vitae box with a sapphire crystal lid and some kind of fancy felt. I'd have a matching brush, like a rainbow, too.

    Then I'd get the Pope to bless it.

    Olivewood burl, if such a thing exists, from the tree Christ wept under. That'd be Friday's and the final scale material.

    I'd love to send a PM or email to;

    Joe Chandler
    Bill Ellis
    Robert Williams
    Tim Zowada
    Maestro Livi
    Butch Harner
    and Frank Warner

    I'd ask each one to make a 7/8, spanish point, worked back, 1/4 hollow in Damascus, and for each to go nuts with the design and choose their own scales to match the blade.

    If I had the money this is what I would do, and I'm sure I'd have the 7 day set of my dreams.
