Now the real question is which root beer? A&W, Hires, Barks, Mug, Cott, Dad's, Jones, Pop Shop, or other?

    Personally, I'm a Dad's rootbeer fan.

Virgil's handcrafted root beer is the best. it's made with all the attention to detail as a fine craft beer. i recommend you all try it... you'll never be able to choke a&w down ever again.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh........Thanks Dan; with the elections being over, THIS is back to the kind of conversation that I like. Seriously.

Rootbeer rocks. We're fortunate enough in Minnesota to be able to find "1919" on draft rootbeer at certain establishments. IMO it's much better and more flavorful than A&W. It's made in New Ulm, Minnesota by a small company and it's not sold in bottles. Good stuff.

You should have said "in 2012" to be more accurate, with the next campaigning invariably starting on 1.21.09.

    I LOVE ROOT BEER!
I don't know where to get good stuff around here though. I wonder if Whole Foods has anything decent?
It's been too long since I kept it in the house.

This is scary we even share tastes in root beer Virgils is incredible!!

Of course just like appreciating a good microbrew doesn't stop me from enjoying a bud at the ballpark, I still go for the classic A&W most of the time.

And yes Whole foods should have it!!

There’s nothing like sitting back and relaxing, starring at the car you just spent a couple hours shining, drinking a cold A&W root beer and listening to oldies.

Cars, oldies music, and root beer go great together.
