    randy: that is one cool avatar. demonstrates what i guess is the x pattern. btw, jay is gonna be here wednesday. gonna take him my practice razor and my barber hones and let him show me how to hone, just in case. got some handamerican 0.5 paste on order. when club razor gets here, gonna order some TI paste for my linen strop

    Just a note .... The T-I white paste is engineered to be used on leather or a flat of balsa wood. DOVO white paste is meant to be used on the swing strop linen. The T-I paste is a bit more aggressive than the DOVO, roughly in the 8k-10k grit range on the JIS waterstone scale. DOVO is barely abrassive at all. Pardon the interruption ... 8) Oh! I forgot. The law prohibiting use of T-I paste on linen was repealed in 2004, so feel free!
