Wow there are some good ones but I think you kids may be too young to remember Johnny Rivers smash hit:

I don't know how to put it on here either, but I like Jan Hammer's theme song from Miami Vice. Also the movie clip that goes with it is not so bad.If anyone can put it on,please do.
Nice call on the Danger Man song, icedog.
If you like that, you'll like the opening to The Kids in the Hall, which I'm now posting. It's played right after the little sketch intro. Come to think of it, a lot of my favourites have surf-style guitar (tremelo and high-end trebel) on them... or blues.
And people, remember to try and separate yourselves from the nostalgia element. Not every song is good just because you saw it as a kid. The Rockford Files, Mission Impossible, Danger Man, Hawaii 5.0 -- those are classics. Heck, even Charles in Charge is a good one! Undeniably catchy!
Love this track:

I don't know if it completely tops the list, but this song makes me happy to hear... The theme song from Cheers!!!

Sheesh, how could we have forgotten Cheers!
That's a brilliant song. When groups of people here it, they put their arms over one another's shoulders in a long chain and just sway back and forth.
This is one of my favourites:
