This is a rare condemnation of such an act by the Muslim community And I for one am glad to see it!
I would like to hear such condemnation more often!

    Thanks Sparq

Let me point out then the obvious reason for the condemnation to be rare - the act itself is rare. I'd rather have them remain so.

What makes you think I am Muslim?

We saw a lot of these acts early on after 9/11 gugi. Not here in America so much but against reporters, construction workers, and other non muslim types in the muslim countries. The silence from the muslim community in America was deafening!

The bit in red made me think you were muslim, but on rereading it you could've been talking about our society as a whole!

No problem, JMS. No, I am not Muslim and I would feel exactly the same regardless if the murderer was Christian, Jew, a communist or John Galt.

Here it is. 'Not here in America', and I frankly don't see how can you hold the muslim community responsible for something they don't identify with.

Who do you expect apology from for say Reporters sans frontières - United States ?
While at it here's another piece of news from Waziristan Reporters sans frontières - Pakistan .

Do I need to point out that the biblical punishment for adultery is stoning to death? As far as I remember the story, Jesus didn't change that, just pointed out to the people anxious to dispense a speedy justice that they also have their share of unpunished crimes.

I dont hold them responsible gugi.
They didn't commit the murders, their silence however, implied that they agreed with the murders Even if they didn't agree with them.
