Just used it. I asked SWMBO if she was ever a dozy tart...
She said, "I'm not sure what that is, but I do think I know what "tart" means." So I backpedaled as fast as I could and said, "Never mind, I just read on the internet that it is a common British term of endearment." Close one!

Thanked: 235This is quite normal driving behavior in Bangkok. I see things as bad if not worse every day. Just the other day I saw a very fat man (he would have to have been upwards of 100kg) riding a 100cc motorcycle which is designed to carry only about 60kg. He was riding with one hand and in the other hand he held a new born baby. This is the Land of Smiles, not the land of intligence.

Well she goes to Welsh speaking school, so she can happily jabber away in Welsh, English & Valleys. They are seen as separate languages around here. How on earth have I ended up with a trilingual five year old?
The thing is, Ozzy does have a strong Brummie accent still. If you hear him in interviews from the 70s, he is only slightly less slurred but a lot more nasally whining. Jockeys, you do realise that you have mortally offended England's second city & all of its inhabitants.
