Who do you Think is the Best James Bond
Personally, I like Pierce the most. It's probably largely because Golden Eye was the first Bond film I saw, and I think GE was well done. While I do agree that Sean is awesome, I personally see Bond as a younger man. I also think that being so young, I can't help but see Bond as more "modern."
What are your thoughts?

Connery>Dalton>Brosnon>Moore. I haven't seen a Lazenby Bond yet. I love Daniel Craig, but his films are so different, they're hard to compare to the originals.

While I respect your opinion, I have to disagree. Can't be a better Bond than Connery. I appreciate all the others, but as with everything, there is only one original.
The Man With The Goden Gun was my first Bond movie, in the theater. For a long time it was my favorite, going back and forth between that and The Spy Who Loved Me. I was a huge sucker for the Lotus Esprit Turbo, and the underwater scene.
Now, with one on every other night on cable, I've seen them all so many times, I've become a huge fan of Sean Connery's Bond movies. Goldfinger was his best movie, BTW.

For me, Sean Connery is James Bond
I never read the books, and although the other Bonds are and were entertaining, I always measured them against Sean ConneryFind me on SRP's official chat in ##srp on Freenode. Link is at top of SRP's homepage

Connery is bond--no doubts. Just...yeah.
HOWEVER, Craig as the new Bond is awesome...it's just like a new identity, a total reboot. I loved Casino Royale, and I really can't wait to see Quantum of Solace.
But yeah, Connery's cool made Bond for me.

I agree. Craig's Bond is just entirely different. I'm hoping that with the resolution he gets in QoS, he'll lighten up a little. They need to be careful, otherwise they'll just turn him into Jason Statham, a la Transporter.
Connery was just such a definition of what Bond embodies in the movies: handsome, humorous, resourceful, and witty. Brosnan was fantastic, but there toward the end, the movies were just silly.

Connery was bond...
I too saw Man with the Golden Gun first... then came one of my favorite The Spy Who Loved Me...
Now I do like Craig but his Bond movies are not the classic cut of Bond movie. The Love scenes and his charm are not as intense and that has always been a trademark of Bond. And where is the scene where he goes in and gets his latest spy stuff ??? The sweet cars have both been wrecked out almost within minutes of him getting them.
Bottom line is Connery had the charm, look and balls to fill the part the best overall.

I agree with JimR, gotta be Connery, Sean Connery.
