- "In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;
- And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;
- And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;
- And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up."

A more recent form of the same poem pulled from a memers sig line here:
when they came for the communists I was silent, I was not a communist.
when they came for the jews I was silent, I was not a jew.
when they came for the guns I was silent, I was not a gun owner.
when they came for me there was no help left.

Thanked: 369And what about Texas? (Texas Gov. Reaffirms State Sovereignty)
Will the entire state now be considered a "right-wing extremists" territory?

I hope you'll forgive the "artistic license", I couldn't get the copy/paste to work,lol. I use the other version on most other sites.
It amazes me how many people don't realize that the restrictions placed on one group can easily be redirected at another. Hard to see the connection when your worried about feeding your kids or keeping your house.

Just curious,
Do any of you gentlemen know if any other states have reaffirmed their sovereignties?
I'm not a Texan, but I think they have a good thing going. Their policies seem to be creating jobs, industry, and the works, while other states do nothing but pay out through the nose to those who don't have a right to it (wouldn't want to look "MEAN" now would we...) by taxing to death those who do.
The life and death cycle of nations; if it is not paid heed we will simply proceed through to completion.

It seems that around 20 states are considering this path we need 34 to really scare the statist in DC. Of course we could work on getting the states to call for a new "continental congress" and then peaceful clean up the mess that is the current government... but they are not going to go for that yet... to much pork spending and backhanders to change without some serious crisis.
Be just and fear not.
