Colliding head-on with a bumble bee when biking on a sunny day. First the surprise, then the reassuring buzz - hardly a sound sweeter - and the cute heavy, swinging flight into the blue.

Taking a walk through the fields and christmas tree plantation next door with our two yellow labs.Their childish bouncing and bounding and chasing shadows of birds and butterflies just tickles me sometimes.

Oh yeah, that brought a smile to my face, with summer coming on. I'm very fond of bumblebees, and since we have hollyhocks, we get to see a lot of them.

Watching animals of all kinds.
And watching my cats. Each time they come to say hi they look at least ten percent prettier than expected.
