Thanked: 335My previous pickup was an '87 Ford which I drove for 16 trouble free years while it accumulated very nearly a third of a million miles. I sent Bill Ford a couple of emails suggesting that good advertising might be to give the long mile drivers a ball cap with something like "a third of a million miles" on the crown and on the back "built Ford tough". After many, many months I received a reply saying thanks for your comments, we're sending them to our research department. I mentioned this to a Chevy saleman when I was out kicking tires while looking for a replacement for the old rusty but trusty Ford. He ran off to his cubicle and returned with a Chevy ball cap and asked "do you want to buy a truck?"
Bill lost a bet on that one.

I know what you mean. That Scout is a Gas toilet but I would not have changed a thing. Like I said I drive a Jeep Cherokee daily so it dont matter so much.... it averages out...maybe.

Thanked: 2I don't give into this stereotype.
I have a WRX STI 2004 as my daily driver. It's a great daily with plenty of power and 6 speed manual is wonderful. My race car is a 95 Honda Del Sol. It's full out track ready pushing about 250 hp to the wheels under natural aspiration by way of a fully built US spec Type R motor bored out 2.0 liter, stroked, and running individual throttle bodies. The suspension is all beefed up, the interior is beefed up with stitchwelding, the cage and 5 point harness make it safe, and the LSD transmission make it grab the road like a bat out of hell.
Chick car? Hell no. It's a monster!
oh, and as far as Jeeps go, I just sold a 1980 CJ7 Laredo 4x4 w/ a 4" BDS lift pushing 33x12.5x15 BFGs. I also saw the Mini Cooper and my ex fiance and I custom ordered a Cooper S and that car is so much fun to drive. It's like a gokart but with some cajones.

I agree during the week I drive what makes life easy on the weekend I drive what makes life fun.
