    Cool SRP - TNG

    Greetings ladies and gents!

This thought has been roaming around in my head for a few days, mainly inspired by X Man and all of us others on here with kids.

How many of you are planning on introducing your kids into the world of straight shaving when they are old enough?

My wife and I don't have kids yet, but we are trying. I'm hoping for a boy so I have someone to pass my razors onto. And yes, I have planed to give him a toy shaving kit when he is young. Then when he turns about ten, a blunt straight to practice stropping and a brush for lathering. Then when he is shaving age, his first real straight.

if I ever have kids, or if I am significant in the lives of any of my friends or my family's kids, then sure I would teach them if they took an interest. I'd teach them how to ride a motorcycle and fix it up as well, how to drive properly etc. In truth, I am probably more suited to be the 'uncle' than the father lol.

If little Adam wants to I'll teach him for sure. We'll see. At the moment he finds the world around him so interesting that he can't really sit still for more than a few seconds.

After those seconds the "probing finger" comes out and tests everything....I don't think I'd let him near a razor quite yet.

I voted "Yes, but only if they want to" but since all three of my kids are now out on their own, we don't get that much time to talk.

    I understand that.
However, it just wouldn't be the same as passing them to a son.

Plus my daughter is half Asian and probably won't have much leg hair TO shave.

We already have JrJoeD shaving with a straight when he stays with us. I guess we were lucky that he was interested in shaving like his dad. My son Mike doesn't want anything to do with them He is a bit reckless in many ways and it is probably safer that he sticks to the cart razors
