Major bummer. Contact any office where it may have been returned! Get the word out!

I once lost a belt with two very expensive sheath knives while on vacation. I assumed it was gone for good.

A year later I was back at the same vacation spot and discovered my belt and knives hanging behind an office counter waiting to be claimed. I was amazed!

i'd opt for making a new great memory out of it and getting your wife to buy you a custom as a replacement
that should make it at least bitter-sweet, if not sweet-n-low
Actually I do have a 30th birthday coming up in early July...

    That sucks man.

Given how often I tend to lose things, I offer my condolences, Sir Sidney. Also I suggest you contact the place you stayed in Fort William & ask if you left it there. Then get on to the lost property offices... Good luck senor

    Sidneyopolis,

Some doddering old saying tries to tell us that every problem has a solution. Well I disagree. I believe that some problems have no solution but only outcomes. Fortunately, this problem does have a solution. Please check your private messages.

Brad- I have checked my messages and have replied. I am confused. Uncertain. But I have done as you requested.

Brad told me of how I had come into some money because a distant relative who used to live Angola has died. He told me my late step-uncles last remaining wish was that I would never have difficulty in experiencing the perfect shave. As a result my step uncle had left me some money which I can use to buy replacement razors and brushes. Brad had acted as the intermediary of this information because had he not done so the money would have been taken by Angolan officials. Brads request therefore was that he wanted my bank details so he could deposit the money into my bank account. He wanted my account number, sort code, card number, card issue number, security code and password details.

    ...

    .....

    .......

Oh. Hang on. Brad wait a minute.....

    ============== STOP THE PRESS================

I just had a rather odd converstaion with the lady who ran the youth hostel. She confirmed that a light blue toiletries bag HAS been left there. I asked her what was in it and she described with some confusion that there was a silver shadow in there. Huh? No she means my aftershave- 'Silver Shadow' by davidoff.

    Me: Anything else?
Her: Yes you have some soap thing here.
Me: Huh? (I know I didnt but then I twig) Oh you mean my alum block!
    Her: Your what?
Me: Never mind. Anthing else there?
Her: Yes... your thing with hairs is here for..... um... with hairs...

Who doesnt know a shaving brush when they see one? I mean its not exactly an unusual thing, is it?

Me: Oh! My shaving brush! Yes thats fantastic! Is my razor there?

Here it comes. You can see it coming.

There is a LOOONG pause and then tentatively the lady says:

"Umm.... you have a knife here. "

Me: Oh thank you thats perfect. Thats my razor!

Oddly she seems rather keen to end this conversation. I agree to arrange to have it picked up next week.

    HOORAY!

Oh, and now my wife has to look for something else for my 30th birthday. So if anyone knows of a maestro livi custom up for sale then please PM me.
