since it appears that my sarcasm may be entirely too deep for some people to grasp.....
I should point out that what I am really saying is that the Republican party is going to have to come up with more than some cheap gimmick in order to stage a comeback.
yes I called Palin a cheap gimmick
this is politics, not wrestling
there, I came right out and said it
thank me ! (this is a joke too)

Ahh jeez.
I never really cared about this woman except as a nice way for McCain to commit electoral suicide, but man...this latest announcement?
Now she says "it's in Alaska's best interest" that she step down...what could that POSSIBLY mean other than that she is bad for Alaska? What does she THINK it means?
And then this:
"And though it's honorable for countless others to leave their positions for a higher calling and without finishing a term..." Like who? Nixon?
When I read her words, I can feel my brain cells quietly flicking off the lights and calling it a night...

Thanked: 953she's done. no way she can quit in her first term and run for national office. scandal makes sense, as does being sick of all the attacks. but whatever she's thinking, she's done.
and I'm still trying to figure out her idiotic basketball analogy. when she started talking about full court press I thought she was going to say she couldn't advance the ball past midcourt and had to turn it over.
