Thanked: 402LOL, good one!
The seeds were available as bird food to get them to sing prettier.
They were fried somehow so that they don't grow, but we tried anyway.

Thanked: 30LEGALIZE MARIJUANA
HELLO
Because of the excruciating, constant pain I am now in due do the broken titanium implant I had installed to stabilize my lower spine I am forced to take very strong , mind altering, " LEGAL " narcotics ( OXYCONTIN, ZANAFLEX AND SOMA ) all day everyday just to deal with the pain.I have a very long list of side effects from taking these medications and I am in a fog most of the time and forget what happens from day to day. When I was living in Las Vegas Nevada in 2006 and had my back surgery to install the now broken implanted spinal device I qualified and obtained a state legal medical marijuana license. I was allowed to grow 7 plants for my own usage and have up to 3 ounces of cured marijuana for using. I was vaporizing marijuana all day ,everyday and I was far more pain free and functional than I am now using the " LEGAL" medications. But since I live in a very anti marijuana state (FLORIDA) and I don't want to go to jail for using a far more effective and natural medicine and I don't even consider growing or using what I believe to be the most safest, effective and manageable pain reliever known to man.

Thanked: 402Yes it is!
And differently from state to state even.
In germany there's a little difference in tolerance, too
Bavaria for example is scary, while Berlin is very lax and small amounts are no problem really.
But no such thing as crime or not crime.

I know exactly what you mean. I was on narcotics for my back surgery, and I literally can't remember much of anything for a little over a month following my surgery. Afterward, my dad and I were talking about it, and he was telling me everything I missed and I couldn't believe it.

If I understand it correctly ? The worst thing about Mark's situation is that he is one of many whose surgeons used a product that turned out to be defective. The company that made the titanium plates that reinforce the vertebra has a large number of lawsuits against them as a result of this faulty product. They are doing what many in the free market do and filing for bankruptcy and leaving those afflicted with their shoddy merchandise holding the bag.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

That's both sad and scary; I hope your pain subsides, Mark.
I have a young relative that has recently gone through some hip surgeries for dysplasia. She's less than 30 years old and is on some of the drugs you've listed as prescribed. It scares us as her family that she says the amounts she's given are not enough and that she needs more and more of the pain killers. We fear she's becoming strongly and legally addicted to high level narcotics.
My parents have a neighbor that got hooked on pain meds after some knee surgeries. He's said getting and staying off the pain meds is the hardest thing he's ever encountered in his life.

It is definitely tough. My biggest problem with getting off them was sleeping. My body relied on the drugs to put me to sleep, so once I started backing off of them, I had insomnia pretty bad. I think what helped me the most was to constantly remind myself of how addictive my drugs were. With that going through my head, I was able to grit my teeth with the pain and finally learn how to sleep on my own again.
