Thanked: 402Sounds like a cold turkey from heroin to me.
They should really not to this to people who are in pain anyway.
Profits make them cruel, don't they?

I recently had dealings with a young woman who had been in a very nasty automobile accident and got hooked on Oxycotin, when that ran out she turned to another familiar opiate, heroin. She has been clean for about 4 months now and hoping to go all the way, she is finally getting some sleep in the last week or so.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

Thanked: 30LEGALIZE MARIJUANA
HELLO AGAIN
Another sad situation about the the company ( MEDTRONICS ) that
manufactured the defective implant device in my spine is that they are a company that has had annual sales between 9 - 13 billion dollars a year for several years. The also manufacture another medical device that was used in my surgery called "BONE MORPHOGENIC PROTEIN" . This is a genetically altered protein that is placed into a collagen sponge and it is packed into the implant site and is supposed to cause bone to form around the titanium device. I found out well researching about this substance that there have been several deaths and other serious health problems caused by this substance migrating to other parts of the body like hearts, lungs, brains and other organs throughout the body. I also found out that MEDTRONICS is and has been under investigation for this product because they paid off several doctors to issue favorable reports on this substance and claim they had performed extensive studies on this substance for safety, when it was only tested for a few weeks on hamsters and the FDA approved this substance on the doctors false reports and studies. All of this has just started to come to light since March of 2009 when the FDA issued recalls on both the titanium implant and the bone protein as being unsafe to use. I have also contacted over 20 different attorneys to try to get one to represent me in a law suit against MEDTRONICS and I cant find one who is willing to take this case. If anybody knows personally of a good attorney who might take my case let me know ?

I've never seen a woman adjust so quickly to life in a Turkish prison.....
(it's a Simpsons joke)
he who pays the piper calls the tune
I suspect there are a large number of doctors who missed their calling as crappy swindler auto mechanics.

Thanked: 9Bottom line is it should be choice, your own choice on what is safe or unsafe, healthy or unhealthy.
Not the govt telling you what is fair or moral or healthy.
owuldnt smoke weed anymore but i would agree that people should learn for themselves and not be told.

My argument is a natural one. why should a plant be illegal?
To quote Bill Hicks, that's like saying God made a mistake.
There are plants and fungus out there that outright kill people, but are legal because we educate the public about them and their use.
I bet most crime associated with Pot would fade away if it were legalized.
Full disclosure, I've smoked a lot of pot. Now I only use it very infrequently, often along with meditation; I've covered a lot of ground on the 'natural high' front.
One of the best highs I know of: SINGING. pure and simple, deep breaths, full voice.
