    I checked with the TSA regarding the status of my Transportation Workers Identity Card (TWIC). Here is what they say:
    Status Detail Your card has been printed and has been shipped to the enrollment center below. The average time to receive your card is 5-10 business days. You will receive an automated notification when it is ready for pickup.

    So far, so good!

    So tomorrow morning at 0830 I start my first class at SUNY Maritime College. It will be the first time in a couple years I have a reason to even get out of bed in the morning. I doubt I will get any sleep tonight.

    I wonder why I would post this.

    Progress report:

    I passed the course with flying colors. I am now USCG certified Lifeboatman. The next course, Able Seaman begins October 5th.

    I was the oldest one in the class.
