I almost bought some the other night off the impusle rack at a pharmacy. Figured it would be a product I would never use, and would get laughed at by SWMBO for buying. About 12 hours later, my daughter decdied that my bowl of cereal in the morning (she sits with me while I eat) would look better on the table, the floor, and the dog. Kitchen towels (two) and paper towels (more than two) were used in the cleanup. And now...I see this thread extoling their virtues! Shamwow...I have forsaken thee and been punished. I will celanse my sins by purchasing two sets this evening on my way home from work.

i asked for some for my birthday believe it or not! i figured that if they didn't work then i hadn't wasted the money, plus i buy myself everything so a gift list is hard for me. they do work great. i hate throwing paper towels away constantly so i use one cut in half to dry my hands at work, one behind the counter for emergency spills, etc.
and yes that guy is a douche. i heard that he got his tongue bitten by prostitute or something. now i have to search for the article!

Yup, totally being punished!
That's kind of why I posted it. It's not often I extol the virtues of a product, let alone one like this, but they're cheap and handy.
Definitely do! Like I said, the draw for me was that they could be wrung out easily and worked almost as good as dry after being wrung out. I think I might still buy some for my truck
One thing: they're machine washable but apparently aren't meant for the dryer. I put mine through the dryer on accident, but they still seem to work just as well. I guess we'll see...
