If you measure yourself first thing in the morning you might tip 6'.
We are at least 1/4" shorter at the end of the day than at the start. Spine compression.
Oh, and I'm strictly average at 5'10".
Interested in seeing how tall some of our Dutch members are. I read somewhere that the Dutch are the tallest nationality. Every time I see colleagues there, I feel like a dwarf in a crowd.

Wow am I feeling short right now, only 5'6".
I hope you are ALL wrong about getting shorter as you get older.

I'm 5'10 or 5'11" depending which doctor you ask. You'd think it would be a pretty easy measurement.
I am the shortest male in my family by a few inches, and the tallest in my wife's family by a few inches.
Growing up, my kid brother was always my height until he passed me when he was about 17. He's 6'3" or so.
I go out with my inlaws, and it's all "Oh, you should take the front seat" or, "Hey, you're so tall, can you...." It is an odd paradigm shift.

6'6" and 48 years old so I no longer feel as tall as I used to when I was younger. Getting good fitting clothes (especially trousers and shoes) is still a nightmare.

Between 5'7" and 6'5" depending on which convenience store I'm leaving at the time.
