They shouldve done a decent remake of Fountainhead first.

2 and 3 are ok. Better than average imo, but the first one really takes the cake. Imo, the matrix was a bit of a revolution.

I thought this was a thread about movies you wished you could see in a theater. Mine: Andrei Rublev, Stalker (or anything by A. Tarkovsky), 2001 A Space Oddessy (anything Kubrick too, I suppose) or anything by Kurosawa, anything by Fellini. OK, so I'm a fan of directors I guess. Bergman, who could forget Bergman. I guess I'll just have to get rich and build my own theater or make rich friends and make them think it was their idea to build a theater.

Alice looks like fun but I think Burton is "drifting" slightly. Avatar looks stunning. The Big Lebowski is playing at the IFC theater this friday... dude.

what i meant for the thread was more new movies that you really want to see in the theater rather then wait for DVD, or movies that you were really excited about seeing in the theater in the past, and whether they lived up to the hype or not. but it would be great to expand it to movies you wish you saw in the theaters. good idea.

BTW i will always be the first to go off topic in my own threads so a little variation of the topic is great.

A trailer that's available online looks fantastic. Unfortuanatly, it will never become a film, as it was made only as a demo. Check it out: YouTube - The Grayson Trailer

ahhh that sucks that that Grayson movie will never be a film!!!!! it looked really sweet! though i guess its not really time for Batman to die yet right? they need a couple more movies still

Daybreakers looks good too, i will watch that one for sure though probably not in the theatre.

the last one i saw in the theater was Angels and Demons (which i liked) but it wasn't a must see in the theater movie for me, i could have watched it at home and gotten the same effect.

'Cept for the fact that Dick Grayson hasn't been Robin but Nightwing for a looong time now while Batman had other Robin sidekicks, and there were too many heroes and villains in that trailer to follow in a movie. There's always room for artistic license but it smells like they're reaching there.
