I simply have to pay more attention to information I hear on the car radio while traveling. Late last month I distinctly recall hearing a U.S. healthcare related person say that by the end of September, 10 million cases of H1N1 were anticipated. That number caught my attention. However, it didn't register with me as to whether than number was for the U.S. or worldwide. I would assume worldwide?

I've been viewing this link periodically at the U.S. Center for Disease Control website. This link reports as close to a "real time" count of cases in the U.S. As of this writing on 9/24/2009 4,569 total reported cases with 364 flu like related deaths. HERE'S THE CDC LINK

Has anyone heard what the worldwide numbers are supposed to be to date?
